D-2-Hydroxyglutarate dehydrogenase (D2HGDH) inactivating alleles are unlikely to explain elevated both 2R-HG and 2,3-DHBA plasma concentrations in AML patients that are WT for IDH1/2 since the expression of D2HGDH did not correlate with 2R-HG and 2,3-DHBA plasma concentrations. Here, D2HGDH is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
