In one such Phase 2b clinical trial (MYR203) [25], 60 patients with chronic HBV/HDV (hepatitis D virus) co-infection were randomized 1:1:1:1 into the following four treatment groups: Peg-IFN-α once weekly (n = 15)(Arm A), bulevirtide 2 mg once daily (qd) by subcutaneous (sc) injection + Peg-IFN-α qw (n = 15) (Arm B), bulevirtide 5 mg qd + Peg-IFN-α (n = 15) (Arm C), or bulevirtide 2 mg qd (n = 15) (Arm D).
