miR-146a was not only overexpressed in cervical cancer and promoted cancer cell proliferation by targeting TRAF6 through NF-κB signaling (Li et al., 2019), but also in oral carcinoma by targeting IRAK1, TRAF6, and NUMB (Hung et al., 2013; Min et al., 2017). Here, TRAF6 is linked to cervical cancer.
