ZEB2 and neoplasm: We have demonstrated that miR-143 inhibits tumor growth of colorectal cancer and angiogenesis (Qian et al., 2013), which makes cells more chemosensitivity to oxaliplatin treatment, and miR-218 repression contributes to progression of EMT (epithelial-mesenchymal transition), chemoresistance and tumor metastasis by targeting Slug/ZEB2 signaling in lung cancer (Shi et al., 2017).
