The results showed that the positive rate of NRP1 protein expression in gastric cancer was higher in those with tumor larger than 5 cm versus with tumor smaller than 5 cm, higher in those with stages III-IV than with stages I-II, higher in low differentiation than well/moderate differentiation, and higher in those with lymph node metastasis than without lymph node metastasis. Here, NRP1 is linked to metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
