For the Jurkat cell line, the top three enriched GO terms were “ATPase activity” (P = 6.29E−04), “Transcription factor activity sequence-specific DNA binding” (P = 9.17E-04), and “Protein binding” (P = 0.001) (Data Sheet 2: Table S3), suggesting that hypermethylation affects transcription factor binding during HIV infection, which is consistent with our previous results. This evidence concerns the gene DNAH8 and HIV infectious disease.
