Ang et al. (2011) have reported that H2S can regulate TRPV1-induced neurogenic inflammation in sepsis by enhancing SP production and activating ERK-NF-κB pathway. This study aimed to elucidate the role of H2S in regulating gastrointestinal motility in rats, and to investigate whether the effect of H2S is resulted from the activation of TRPV1 channels though a NF-κB-dependent manner. Here, NFKB1 is linked to Sepsis.
