In the present study, we could demonstrate that the Low-Insulin-Method included in the multi-component, occupational healthcare SAMMAS program focusing on hypocaloric, low-carbohydrate diet, meal replacement therapy, continuous glucose monitoring, telemonitoring and telemedical coaching, and aiming to lower insulin levels in order to allow effective lipolysis, leads to a significant weight reduction in individuals with overweight or obesity.
