Two MSH2-negative malignant neoplasms showed also cytoplasmic staining, a mixed mucinous, and medullary carcinoma from the right colon and a poorly differentiated gastric carcinoma infiltrating the liver and the pancreas at diagnosis, both from patients of the same family with EPCAM-MSH2 deletions (Figure 2). The gene discussed is MSH2; the disease is gastric carcinoma.
