It was observed that the extract at the dose of 500 mg/kg increased gonadotropins FSH and LH (5.95 ± 0.02 mIU/mL; 6.48 ± 0.09 mIU/mL) and reduced the level of estrogen (0.9 ± 0.07 mIU/mL) compared to the PCOS group (FSH level: 1.69 ± 0.08 mIU/mL; LH level: 6.29 ± 0.04 mIU/mL; estrogen level: 1.42 ± 0.05 mIU/mL), causing the ratio of LH/FSH to be close to 1:1 (6.48/5.59).
