ESR1 and neoplasm: In multivariate Cox regression analysis of the whole cohort of patients, the IFN-γ signature retained its prognostic impact (HR 2.287, 95% CI: 1.410–3.633, p < 0.001); furthermore, tumor size (HR 0.608, 95% CI: 0.378–0.979, p = 0.041), estrogen receptor status (HR 2.171, 95% CI:1.003–4.701, p = 0.049), and tumor grade (HR 0.310, 95% CI 0.110–0.870, p = 0.026) were further independent clinical pathological parameters (Table 5).
