In silico analyses revealed CREB-binding sites within the HLA-G promoter (Fig. 3a).To investigate whether the reported direct interaction of CREB with the HLA-G promoter sequence in extravillous cytotrophoblasts is also functional in the RCC cell system, ChIP was performed applying lysates from the RCC cell line MZ2862RC expressing both CREB and HLA-G (Fig. 3b).
