High expression of CD11b in the NUP98-NSD1 syngeneic model and high expression of CD33 in the PDX model indicate that the NUP98-NSD1 fusion skews leukemic development towards the myeloid lineage in both murine and PDX models, which differs from other NUP98 fusions such as NUP98-HOXD13 that differentiate into a wide spectrum of hematological malignancies such as erythroid, myeloid, and T cell leukemia [41]. The gene discussed is CD33; the disease is hematologic disorder.
