NUP98-NSD1 leukemia frequently co-occurs with mutations in FLT3, NRAS, WT1, and MYC [6,7,8,9] and is associated with poor prognosis [6,10,11], with patients showing a poor response to conventional therapy such as chemotherapy and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HCT). This evidence concerns the gene NUP98 and leukemia.
