Interestingly, common chromosomal alterations that are known to be highly prognostic in ALL, such as BCR-ABL, ETV6-RUNX1, MLL-AF4, SIL-TAL, and TCF3-PBX1, were not related to the risk of death in the patients investigated in the present study.
