Using a large-scale functional genomics approaches, we previously found that depletion of COX6B2 activates cleaved caspase 3/7 in cell lines derived from breast, melanoma and NSCLC, with the most potent activation in H1299 NSCLC cells (Figure 1—figure supplement 1A; Maxfield et al., 2015). This evidence concerns the gene COX6B2 and melanoma.
