Among the clinicopathological factors, high CLDN6 expression was significantly associated with surgical stages III/IV (p ≤ 0.001), histological type (p = 0.030), histological grade 3 (p = 0.004), lymphovascular space involvement (LVSI; p = 0.005), lymph node metastasis (p = 0.001) and distant metastasis (p < 0.001) (Table 3). This evidence concerns the gene CLDN6 and metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
