The expression of the nine genes from the DAVID results, based on reference to the over-expression (upregulated) CXCL9 gene, reduces the number of T immune cells in the organs and tumor microenvironment and reduces the secretion of IL-6 and TGF-β2 which triggers the development of prostate cancer (Tan et al., 2018). This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and prostate cancer.
