Cells with a p53 mutated, does not occur cell cycle stop, which makes them unstable and with a tendency to accumulate additional mutations and chromosomal rearrangements, probably leading to mutated cells proliferation, with subsequent formation of neoplasms and, in breast cancer cases, more severe prognosis (Bourdon et al., 2003; Oliveira et al., 2005; Bourdon, 2007). This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and breast carcinoma.
