Peak insulin responses to the dinner meal were not different between study day, but non-obese participants had lower peak insulin concentrations (95.9 ± 21.9 μU/mL) compared to obese (187.2 ± 23.3 μU/mL; P < 0.01) and lower than T2D (183.8 ± 28.5 μU/mL; P = 0.02, Figure 2B).
