Two hours post meal, insulin concentrations were not different by study day, but insulin concentrations were lower in non-obese subjects (70.6 ± 20.1 μU/mL) compared to both other groups (obese 145.5 ± 21.4μU/mL, P = 0.02; T2D 153.7 ± 26.3 μU/mL, P = 0.02).
