Of patients with prostate cancer, nearly 96% of them carried positive chronotropic autoantibodies directed against the first extracellular loop of the α1-adrenergic receptor (α1-AAB) and 68% negative chronotropic autoantibodies directed against the second extracellular loop of the endothelin receptor A (ETA-AAB). The gene discussed is EDNRA; the disease is prostate cancer.
