RIPK1 and psoriasis: In a mouse model of psoriasis, it was shown that inhibition of the RIPK1-RIPK3-MLKL axis has a protective effect (Duan et al., 2020), and that, in the absence of RIPK1 in keratinocytes, ZBP1-induced necroptosis leads to massive inflammation of the skin (Devos et al., 2020).
