57 drugs targeting 22 genes in the interactome are used in the treatment of at least one among the following neurological disorders- Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), major depressive disorder (MDD), autism spectrum disorder, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder- out of which 35 drugs target 6 novel interactors, namely CACNA1G, CACNA1I, CHRNA9, HRH1, SLC6A2 and ORM1. This evidence concerns the gene CHRNA9 and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
