Notably, spliceosome is the most activated pathway, with the components of small nuclear ribonucleoprotein polypeptides (SNRPB2, SNRPD1, and SNRPD2), heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein proteins (HNRNPC and HNRNPK), serine and arginine rich splicing factor 3 (SRSF3), RNA binding motif protein 8A (RBM8A) and cell division cycle 5 like protein (CDC5L) over-expressed in HCC tissues (Supplementary Fig. S3). The gene discussed is RBM8A; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
