Significantly higher percentages of CD19+/CD200+ B lymphocytes, CD8+/CD200+ T lymphocytes, and CD8+/CD200R+ T lymphocytes were found in patients with EMS and concomitant adhesions (p = 0.024, p = 0.0056, and p = 0.024, respectively) compared with those with EMS but without peritoneal adhesions. This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and peritoneal well differentiated papillary mesothelioma.
