Our results further show that that FOXD1 upregulation correlates with a poor responsiveness of oral cancer patients to radiotherapy and desensitizes oral cancer cells to irradiation treatment probably via elevating the G3BP2 and E2F-related pathways and suppressing the signaling cascades related to the TXNIP-associated interferon responsiveness and p53 activity. The gene discussed is G3BP2; the disease is lip and oral cavity carcinoma.
