Knowing the fact about the role of IKKα/β phosphorylation followed by the activation of NF-κβ in worsened cardiac function mediated by sepsis in chronic kidney disease mice, we studied the effect of IKK inhibition in mice subjected to 5/6 nephrectomy which had undergone treatment of LPS or CLP. The gene discussed is NFKB1; the disease is chronic kidney disease.
