To determine whether BCAS2 is involved in the repair of DSBs caused by ionising radiation (IR), we infected two PCa cell lines—the p53 wild-type LNCaP and the p53-deficient PC-3 cells—with either BCAS2 shRNA-containing (shBCAS2 #1 and #2) or control scrambled shRNA-containing (shscramble) lentivirus. This evidence concerns the gene BCAS2 and posterior cortical atrophy.
