In our study, the patients with AD treated with dupilumab seemed to put on more weight (mean weight gain: 6.1 kg) compared with RA patients treated with an IL-6 inhibitor (mean weight gain: 1.9 kg) [7], RA patients treated with anti-TNF-α (mean weight gain: 1.8 kg) [8], or patients with psoriasis treated with adalimumab (anti-TNF-α; mean weight gain: 2.2 kg) [23]. Here, IL6 is linked to Alzheimer disease.
