The results showed that the secretion of IL‐6 and TNF‐α in the spleen, peritoneal fluid, and bone marrow was significantly reduced in the ATG group compared to the control group 12 hours after the onset of peritonitis (Figure 3A,B) (each bar represents the mean ± SD; n = 5; **P < .01, ***P < .001; Student's t test). This evidence concerns the gene TNF and peritonitis.
