Although exact correspondence between placement of the tumors in the two different experiments was impossible, both visual assessment and observations of the line profile changes by varying the placement of the ruler across T4 strongly indicated that the area with highest albumin-bound [68Ga]ABY-028 was close to the area in the middle of the tumor where the [18F]FDG uptake was at its lowest, i.e., an inverse relationship between the metabolic activity of the tumor and the permeability to the albumin-bound protein [68Ga]ABY-028. The gene discussed is ALB; the disease is neoplasm.
