A Kaplan-Meier analysis of overall patient survival was performed to show that NUCKS was highly expressed in 223 of 393 cases of gastric cancer, and high expression was significantly correlated with reduced patient survival in the TCGA dataset (TCGA samples-478), whereas low NUCKS expression was correlated with good overall survival (p < 0.01; Fig. 1c). Here, NUCKS1 is linked to gastric cancer.
