Recently, extensive studies have shown that the stem cell‐associated transcription factors, such as SOX2,2 SOX9,3 NANOG,4 KLF4,5 LGR5,6, 7 UTF1,8 OCT49 and DAX1,10 are anomaly modulated and functionally alter signalling pathways during cervical cancer pathogenesis. Here, SOX2 is linked to cervical carcinoma.
