Additionally, miR-200c has a critical role in the regulation of EMT and metastatic behavior in CRC via the negative regulation of the target genes such as ETS proto-oncogene 1, transcription factor (ETS1), fms related tyrosine kinase 1 (FLT1) and zinc finger E-box binding homeobox 1 (ZEB1), which, in turn, regulates the EMT markers (E-cadherin and vimentin). This evidence concerns the gene FLT1 and colorectal carcinoma.
