Finally, in clinical samples, we found that the expression of miR-99b and miR-125a was lower in human TAMs of liver cancer than that in adjacent tissues, while the expression of κB-Ras2 and mTOR was reversed, indicating that the axis of miR-99b/mTOR and/or κB-ras2 also participated in regulation of the TAM phenotype in patients with liver cancer. This evidence concerns the gene MTOR and liver cancer.
