Beyond p53 mutations, Be2C cells harbor other important pathogenic genomic aberrations such as 1p21.1-36.3 deletion, which is a well-known positive marker of unfavorable outcome in NB, as well as 9p21-24.3 and 3p22.1-25.3 loss, which is found in other tumors [23,24]. The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is neuroblastoma.
