ANXA5 and acute myeloid leukemia: As shown in Figure 1, the concentrations which induced a similar apoptosis level (percentage of annexin-V+ cells) to DNR and Ara-C treatment, were the following: 20 μg/mL for Eto with 53.9 ± 8.6%/62.4 ± 5.5%/43.2 ± 6.3% (HL-60/KG-1/primary AML cells, respectively), and 70 μg/mL for Flu with 24 ± 2.9%/31 ± 7.3%/39.4 ± 2.4%, of Annexin-V+ cells, respectively (mean ± SEM), as compared to 43.2 ± 3.1%/49.4 ± 5.7%/49.8 ± 4.3% for DNR at the concentration of 500 ng/mL, and 46.5 ± 39%/52 ± 7.1%/48.6 ± 3.6% for Ara-C at the concentration of 20 μg/mL.
