Small GTPases, such as Rac1/Cdc42, can regulate the formation of a multi‐subunit complex comprising GIT1, paxillin, PIX and PAK that promotes cell migration as well as lamellipodium formation.46 Thus, we propose that PIX and PAK levels and Rac1/cdc42 activities in GIT1‐induced metastatic osteosarcoma cells should be further investigated in subsequent studies. The gene discussed is CDC42; the disease is osteosarcoma.
