EPO and preeclampsia: Administration of Epo 50 IU/kg, 11-amino acid peptide pHBSP (amino acid sequence QEQLERALNSS) at the doses of 10 μg/kg and 250 μg/kg to animals with experimental preeclampsia resulted in a decrease in systolic blood pressure by 14.6% (p = 0.0003), 9% (p = 0.0499) and 31.2% (p < 0.0001), and diastolic blood pressure by 9.5%, 7.9% and 32.8% (p < 0.0001), respectively, but the target level was not reached.
