One paper detected the immunohistochemical expression of PTCH1 in 140 ccRCC specimens and found that PTCH1 is more highly expressed in G3/G4 than in G1/G2 tumors (1.5-fold, p = 0.02) 50, which was consistent with our findings of circPTCH1. This evidence concerns the gene PTCH1 and nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma.
