Based on the findings that inhibiting IL-20 enhanced the infiltration of CD8+ and PD-1+ cells in orthotopic PDAC model and KPC mice, we postulated that combined treatment with IL-20 blockade by 7E and immune checkpoint inhibition with an anti-PD-1 antibody, which enhances CD8+ T cell activity, could produce synergistic efficacy for pancreatic cancer treatment.
