Similar to the effects of genistein in breast cancer cells, the anticancer effects of GRA16 were associated with the induction of AKT and ERK dephosphorylation, followed by cell cycle arrest, apoptosis, sub-G1 phase arrest, and NF-κB inhibition in NSCLC cells under the condition that p53 signaling was not involved. Here, TP53 is linked to breast carcinoma.
