Finally, our study further demonstrates that pharmacological inhibition of PDPK1, using 2 distinct chemical compounds (GSK2334470 and BX795), strongly reduced cancer cell growth in the AR‐negative DU145 and PC3 PCa cells, but not in the AR‐positive LNCaP or the RWPE‐1 non‐transformed prostate epithelial cells (data not shown). The gene discussed is PDPK1; the disease is cancer.
