HLA-G expression in endometrial cancer was studied by Barrier et al., who showed an expression of HLA-G mRNA in 55% of the cases of endometrioid cancers, mainly localized in the glandular epithelium with no expression was observed in the stromal tissue (162, 163), and the percentage of HLA-G+ lesions was also correlated with an advanced stage of the cancer. Here, HLA-G is linked to endometrial cancer.
