Previous work has shown that CHD1L is overexpressed in a variety of human malignancies, including colorectal cancer, breast cancer, gastric cancer, nasopharyngeal cancer, lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, esophageal carcinoma and ovarian cancer, and the degree of CHD1L overexpression is correlated with tumor progression and poor prognosis 9-16. This evidence concerns the gene CHD1L and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
