Patients with anemia had a significantly lower FEV1 (43.19 ± 17.57 vs 51.49 ± 17.09%, p=0.03) and DLCOc (48.35 ± 17.74 vs 61.12 ± 21.78%, p=0.01), as well as higher CRP levels (0.77 ± 0.55 vs 0.54 ± 0.75 mg/dl, p<0.01) compared to subjects without anemia irrespective of the presence of ID.
