Data from this study can be considered in the context of similar early-phase studies of other anti-PD-1/PD-L1 antibodies administered as first-line monotherapy for PD-L1-positive NSCLC, although cross-trial comparisons should be interpreted with caution as eligibility criteria and patient populations may differ, and companion assays to detect PD-L1 expression were developed independently for each agent.
