NEK2 and cervical carcinoma: To further confirm the role of NEK2 in promoting oncogenesis in cervical cancer, we constructed stable NEK2-knockdown SiHa cells using NEK2 shRNAs (Fig. 3a) and found that shRNAs-mediated knockdown of NEK2 significantly inhibits cervical cancer cell growth and proliferation (Fig. 3b and c), which is consistent with above findings.
