Shi et al., studied the activation and ubiquitination of AKT in high TRAF6 expression cells such as oral cancer cell HN12 and breast cancer cell MDA-M-231 and low TRAF6 expression cells including oral cancer cell SCC9 and breast cancer cell MCF-7, their findings showed high ubiquitination and activation of AKT were observed in cells with highly expression of TRAF6, compared with low TRAF6 expression cells. This evidence concerns the gene TRAF6 and breast carcinoma.
