One study involving 86 patients with HCC [11] showed that the number of CD3+ T lymphocytes and CD4+ T lymphocytes and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ T lymphocytes in the combined treatment group increased after treatment, while the above indicators in the single treatment group decreased, and there was a significant difference between the two groups (P < 0.05). Here, CD4 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
