Furthermore, Western blotting analyses showed that FOXO1 knockdown enhanced the protein levels of P‐PI3K, P‐AKT, CCND1, CDK4, c‐JUN, N‐cadherin and vimentin in miR‐5188‐silenced U87 and U251 cells (Figure 4F), indicating that silence of FOXO1 could overcome the inhibition of glioma cell proliferation, invasion and migration mediated by miR‐5188 knockdown.
